TROY pt 2: I Wish That Martin, Troy Was Here...

Anjana came by again tonight. We stooped it up and talked about all this things that were going on in our lives. It's always a pleasure. It was funny 'cause it was the first time I think that I was the one on our front stoop while other people were walking in. Laura and Emilie from the first floor as well as Stephen, who's leaving in Oct :(, and Lydia from the 3rd floor. I think I'm gonna start leaving the film schedules for both the floors. Maybe. We shall see. Anyways I feel good. Chilled with Tao this evening, who's anniversary is tonight and bday party is Friday before Gus' thing on Saturday. He also got me back my Groove and Downtown. We kicked it at Hi-Fi for a bit and walked around Central eventually bumping into Josh at Toscanini's. And I also saw 2 cool short docs. One on Jay-z and Fat Joe @ the Rucker and One Night in Vegas about Tyson and 2Pac. Both were awesome. This has been a great night. All I gotta do now is finish up my room as far as cleaning and eventually help out with the rest of the apt since it's all being cleaned up by Monica, Christie, Adam and I. Well first things first I'm about to be off the change the mailbox names. And I get back it'll be time for some True Blood. Man I love Netflix.

laura moved out today :( so it's been 3 years 2 months 1 week 6 days 15 hours and 27 mins since i've lived here with her. It was awesome and I can't repay her enough.

It's funny how life works/happens sometimes. Anjana came by tonight at 1:01 AM. it was an unexpected but very welcomed and pleasant visit. I hadn't seen her in quite some time. We talked about life and caught up on each others as well as our significant others. She seemed to be doing better and looked really happy. I wish I had my camera to take an unwhitebalanced photo of her new short lovely haircut. I need to keep that shit on me. To think that I wouldv'e almost not gotten up to answer the door had she not rang a third time. I normally don't have anyone randomly popping into see my at 1 AM so i all i can say is it's glad to feel liked. I friended Emillie from downstairs today and Audrina, Dan & Co. and Laura came to see Inception today which sold out again. She still has my Prestige. It was nice to see them especially Ms. Bell Warren at my workplace for a change. Also saw that kinda funny phoney style girl Moira tonight. She was Sara's friend before she moved to London. She lost wait and was surprised I remembered her name but she also remembered mine. I hope she's cool now people do grow up let's hope she did with all the time that past since I last saw her. she slimmed up a bit so that's a good things i guess. I friended her too. But seeing Anjana was definitely the highlight of my evening. What's also coincidental is I cleaned up my desk top yesterday and saw a pic of the "Quartet" Me Troy Max and her. We didn't even talk about him and I didn't mention it (the photo) but right before she rang the bell i was peeping a xxl video of 9th wonder talking about the song from pete rock. which ended up tying perfectly into what Anjnana and I spent a bit of time speaking about...Wow! I love moments like that and it got me thinking although I didn't mention it to her tonight I have a responsibility to Mae to be there for her and everyone else i love as Anjana put it a little while ago. i almost feel like the main character in Cashback right now even though I can fall asleep I let Irene borrow it but tonight would be perfect to watch it. at least some. i don't know why but it just feels right. Anyways like Kat's said tonight and how his girlfriend hates it, I hope I can keep some things up. 2 blogs in 2 days practice look book shoot this sunday treatment story boards and video project for saucy lady and blf with anjana are all on deck. I hope i can make them all happen or begin them by the real shoot in august for tao. we shall see. Cat Naps status...zzz!

Just got back from Shaw's and bumping into April @ All Asia. We chopped it up for a bit. It was great seeing her as well as some random dope Cambridge woman who walked by. About to dig in and get into some Entourage!

Mental, Mental!

I went to the Cantab tonight with Laura and Alli so see some spoken word. I might become a regular if can get a seat before it gets packed. I also met our new downstairs neighbor Emily before we left. Not sure if she made it to show after I broke out. Anyhow I need to make fun of this somehow. I'm about to find inspiration from my favorite slam poet, Kevin Powell from the 1st season of the Real World New York. This should be fun. :)

Saturday Night Love!

I feel great this evening. so much to do and going on all at the same time. Even the things I'm missing out on don't have me down. I should be in Chicago checking out Seriously Bent win the improv finals. Sydney is having a party in Brighton, just left work early (where i met some friends of the makers of Frozen) and Rocky Horror is starting, Ian is taking pix and I didn't get a chance to see Jess and Kara who are coming from the Donkey Show. Just saw Anjana, Max and co. Audrina on the train. Heading to my ladies place for a pre valentines romantic shindig. It's my first blog in weeks and if I missed anything to be con't w/ further details later. Peace!

When Disaster Strikes...

Today I got the news that my grandparents are still alive but 5 of my relatives passed away in the terrible 7.0 earthquake that destroyed my parents homeland Haiti. I don't know how to feel I just know want to feel numb because everything thing feels bittersweet. I'm grateful for my family and my loved ones, I'm happy with school, I got a new part time job yesterday at a theatre and I'm even off to see a movie now but so many things just don't feel right :(

Hump Day

It's the end of week 2 at school today, my girlfriend is going to Cali tomorrow and Book of Eli comes out Friday (there's a midnight show Thursday evening) and I'm tempted to watch the first 3 movies from the Hughes Brothers before I peep it since this is there first movie in 9 years. I'm hoping to roll with my friend Karl since we both saw there last movie, From Hell, in the theaters back in '01, which I still have the movie ticket for! Even my cousin Dom let me know he's interested in seeing it with me. And I almost forgot it's my friend Nancy's annual birthday outing this saturday as Tasca. It's only halfway through the week and rest of it already full!

Paper Chase!

So today I bought 2 types of printing paper, for digital and film, and tonight will be getting one more pack of bond paper for business, all the while NESOP is taking all of my favorite type of paper, green cotton & linen! I sure hope I know what I'm doing...

Pay Day

I finally got some money to buy some equipment this weekend. That being said I am once again broke and living off credit. Let's hope I can save some money up this year, on a consistent basis, and not dip into my savings!

Make Or Break Day!

The day I've been waiting for has come. I will finally get to take a business course at NESOP. This is one of the main reasons I decided to enroll so I hope it lives up to my expectations. I've been told this class will be very basic but we will have to speak up and ask questions to get the most out of it so we shall see...A while back last year I signed up for a workshop business class called "The Leap" but it was cancelled because I was the only person who wanted to take the class. I wonder if I would've ever enrolled if I had ever gotten the chance to take it. Similar to that, this morning, I was reminiscing about how life was when i first moved to Central and wondered how things would have been if I had moved after one year back in '08. Either way I realized that this isn't the place it used to be 3 years ago...Well hopefully if NESOP doesn't keep me broke I can finally break out this year. Until then I will have to do the best with what I have and where I'm at. And even though I have become familiar with it I do still love Cambridge so at least that hasn't changed too much. School's In For Winter

It's back to grind once again. Term 2 starts today NESOP. (I started last Oct. 4th and went for 10 weeks finishing Dec 18th.) We are finally going to be using film and most importantly taking business classes this term. This is the make or break semester. I hope to get what I was looking for at the school.
