Later My Neighbor

Today, Anjana and BJ leave for San Francisco... It's also my father's 63rd birthday. I've also got my first appointment with my brother at the Art of Shaving this evening. He was over last night to watch La Haine with Michael, Leah and Olivia. We all had a discussion afterwards but I wish I had gone to see BJ and Anajana one last time at their now old place. I write this as I wait to see them one last time in Cambridge before they depart on their trip. I've still got BJ's Criterion films. I'm super tired. I wanted to go for a walk at sunrise but slept through my Nikka Costa 5:10 am alarm. Olivia stayed up talking until 1 and I showed her Adam and Sophie's EP with came out 2 years ago today. It's also the first new day of the "season" for me and the first day I'm no longer half my dad's age but I'm still as old as he was when he had me. It's also Anjana's friend Susan's 30th bday. I saw her fb post of her last sunrise in her 20's, which made me want to wake up early today even more. I decided the most fitting shirt I could wear was my Mr Rogers shirt. Anjana was my first neighbor and I'm so lucky to have known for for all these years. ( nearly 7) We have so many memories. The wedding was the best I've ever been to and the reception was such and happy and fun time. So was Heroes afterwards. BJ is an amazing guy. I've learned so much from him all these years too. (nearly 5) Like I said during my little speech at the wedding they deserve each other and even though they're going to go away I'm trying to not be sad about it. I want to be happy. I sent a message to Susan and wished her well on new beginnings. I hope I can do the same for myself. This is my first post on this in the year and since last year. and my first entry in either of my blogs in 3 months or so. even tho I have another I do like this one better. I hope I can make the leap to become more of a vegetarian the month. I'm excited for what the next 6 months of the year will bring me and I'm glad for friendships with 2 beautiful people who've helped me get this far in my life.
